Because of your support...
In 2009, Portland After-School Tennis & Education established a year around program for at-risk youth from low-income families. The children we impact have earned the title of “Scholar Athlete.” PAST&E’s year around program invests over 1,000 hours in each Scholar Athlete’s social, athletic, and academic development. We know it works...because 100% of our High School Academy graduated from high school and are enrolled in college. We have high hopes that with the guidance of their teachers, coaches, tutors, families, and each other, they will go on to become integral members in their community and the peacemakers of tomorrow.
In addition, through our community outreach program, we have provided over 10,000 children accessibility to fitness, tennis, A.C.E. (Academic Creative Engagement), First Serve Life Skills, and competitive tennis through USTA Junior Team Tennis League and Junior Tournaments. We are fortunate to have over 250 high school, college, and community volunteers who help us achieve our mission.
Thanks to your continued support we can continue to provide meaningful programming and opportunities to our Scholar Athletes, their families, and the community as a whole.
