Get a team together at your facility and play a point for the Scholar Athletes of Portland Tennis & Education in our first ever Tennis Showdown.  

Portland Tennis & Education (PT&E) provides tuition-free programming to underserved youth from low-income families. Through one-on-one tutoring, nutrition/fitness curriculum, and tennis instruction, we help them achieve academic success, attain physical health, and cultivate essential life skills.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to support the continuation of our programming.

  • Where: St. John's Racquet Center (7519 N Burlington Ave. Portland, OR 97203)
  • When: Saturday, October 28th
  • Tournament Fee: $300/team, 6-8 players per team
  • Divisions: 3.5-4.0, Open 4.5+ (4 teams available per division)
  • Tournament Format
    • World Team Tennis Format
      • Men’s/Women’s singles, Men’s/Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
    • No ad-scoring, 9-point tiebreaker at 5 all
    • Top two teams with the most games accumulated will play off in a final
  • Winner's Prize: Trophy prize for winning team and tickets to PT&E's 2nd Annual Tennis Ball Gala on Saturday, November, 4th
